Our Story
The Pursuit Of is a creative collective of aimed at highlighting and celebrating the
incredible career stories of Women of Colour, through interviews, engaging content and
other creative mediums.
The Pursuit Of has been inspired by the stories of Bozoma St. John, Valeisha Butterfield-Jones, Sharmadean Reid, and Deepica Mutyala; Strong, independent, courageous women from diverse ethnic heritages whose stories have personally impacted many Black Women and Women of Colour. It’s important, now more than ever, that young Women see stories of women who look like them, and come from the same places as them, doing extraordinary things in their careers and their lives. It’s important to let them know that their goals and dreams are possible and there are Women of Colour who want to show them how.
I hope that when you leave these pages, you leave with a sense of being full, a sense of being empowered and a sense of recognising the stories of each of these women within yourself.
Community | Mentoring | Events
Our promise to you - We will foster a Community of #PursuitWomen via Events, Talks, and Social gatherings with the intention of building relationships and networks. We will also provide the community with opportunities to give back via a series of Mentoring opportunities launching in early 2019.
